Most E-books come in the form of PDF files or executable files. A PDF file will work on both PC and MAC. To read a PDF file, you need adobe reader, which you can download at http://www.adobe.com.
Executable files are designed specifically for PC's, and do not require additional software to be read. Windows Service Pack 2 has a bug affecting some ebooks. Click
Here to download software that will fix that problem. Simply download
it and open the program before reading your ebook. Press the "Fix I/O Error" button, and you will be able to read your ebook as intended.
